Located within walking distance to down town and the lake, our cabins are set back off the beaten track in a quiet area of the village. Nestled in the pines each of our 12 cabins offers a different personality; accommodating a single guest or up to eight guests depending on the cabin. All cabins are completely furnished with towels, linens and blankets. Kitchens are supplied with Coffeemakers, dishes, and cooking utensils with microwaves available in some cabins. Three of our cabins have fireplaces and firewood may be purchased at either of our local grocery stores usually open until 8pm.
We do offer cabins #34 and #38 as our “pet friendly cabins”. Other than these cabins we do have a strict “no pets” policy and appreciate your observance and consideration to this rule. If you are booking our pet cabin please review our “pet policy” for more detailed rules and information.
During the summer season we offer a horse shoe pit, volleyball area, and tented family gathering space, along with a corralled campfire ring area. Due to the frequent “fire bans” the fire ring area is offered as a “reserved” amenity only. If you are booking and would like to enjoy an evening around the campfire please prebook this area when making your reservation. It is booked on a first come first serve basis and is also reserved as an event site.
As our village slows down for the winter season we close down half of our cabins. If you are interested in booking during the winter and off seasons please be sure to check and see if your desired cabin is available. With our sister property “Wildwood Cabins” located downtown we should be able to meet your accommodation needs. If you are planning a large group event with winter activities i.e. snowmobiling, ice fishing, or family holiday contact us before November and we will schedule to have all the cabins you need open, warm and ready for your winter get a way.
There are occasions when we will be hosting a special event and music may play outside in our garden patio area until 10 pm or midnight. Because we are located in a quiet area of the village these occasions are limited and are usually in celebration of a wedding, hosting a local fund raiser or Labor Day weekend when we annually host “The No Name Band” all three nights of the holiday weekend. We try to make every effort to ensure that you have been notified about any event prior to your booking commitment.
** Please note that during the winter if temps drop below 0 degrees we may encounter some challenges with pipes and sewer lines. These situations are common to all of us in this area and become top priority to be remedied during that day. We ask that you be aware of this occasional situation prior to your reservation booking.
