Comcast is our provider. We have the highest speed update available in our area. If we have several guests on at the same time it does slow down our speed. Cabins to the back of the property may at times be the first to be effected during a slow down. During storms.... winter or summer, cable in our area may to "go out" for a period of time. Dining Room/Backstreet Steakhouse (casual attire, affordable dining)
Our indoor dining seating is 68 guests. There are no stairs and we can easily accomodate handicap diners in wheel chairs. Our summer dining hours are 4pm-8pm Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. 4-9pm Friday and Saturday. Reservations for groups of 8 or more are appreciated and accepted at 6pm or before. We are happy to accomodate any dietary restrictions. Please do not hesitate to call ahead with these if possible or inform your server at the table.
Our favorite local menu items will still be on our Steakhouse menu although due to the difficult demands and high beef pricing at this time our steaks will be offered as specials nightly. If there is something you enjoyed in the past that you do not see on our menu this summer, you may call ahead and request this item or see if we have the ingredients available for us to prepare when you arrive.
Our menu pricing is designed to serve the most budget minded family along with those who would enjoy a nice bottle of wine with one of our delicious tenderloin steaks. Please take a look at our current menu. Seasonal menus are reposted early to mid- September and mid- December.
GOING to the THEATER? Please be sure you book by 5:30 for the 7:30 show and 6pm for the 8pm show. The earlier the better as we are busy nightly. Please tell your reservation host that you are plannig to go to the theater at booking.
ONE OF OUR SIGNATURE ITEMS IS " ALL -U-CAN EAT" Shrimp Night. This is served on Wednesday nights in the summer and Friday nights in the winter. Cut off is 8pm sharp. Please make sure your reservations have you seated by 7:45. We prepare our shrimp three different styles Tempura Battered, Coconut encrusted, and Scampied. Place your first order in one style and order all three as re-orders afterwards! YUM.............

Cocktail Lounge/ Backstreet Patio Pub

Our cocktail lounge is one of the locals favorite get-a-way pubs. A quaint Pub atmosphere with a warm inviting atmosphere. There are two flat screens (one large) to enjoy your favorite sporting events, the local news, and favorite programming. You may order a full meal , Tapas, or appetizers along with your favorite beverage served to you in the Pub.

Outdoor Garden Patio & Pub
DUE TO A SHORTAGE IN STAFFING OUR OUTDOOR PATIO WILL BE CLOSED THE SUMMER OF 2022.
We have been voted "Best Outdoor Patio" in Grand county. WE absolutely LOVE our patio dining areas in the summertime. Large Ferns with beautiful garden baskets and flowers flowing everywhere in bistro lighting making our evening dining areas one of Grand lakes favorite summer dining spots.
Any menu item or beverage may be served outside with an extended area for PETS on a leash. If your pet needs to use the restroom please be sure to request a bag to clean up after your best friend. We greatly appreciate your attention to this small detail.
This space is Perfect for any special occasion event you would like to have hosted.

Horseshoes & Fire Ring / Family/Group Pic-Nic area
Located in the heart of the cabins we have a space for guests to enjoy family and group activities. A regulation length horseshoe pit, camp fire ring, and outdoor grilling. A covered pic-nic table area to serve family meals prepared from your cabin or ordered as a drop-off from our culinary team in the kitchen. In this space you may enjoy your own food and beverage along with games and activities or just chillaxing!
We ask that you be sure to clean up all of your food and securly pack and store all leftovers inside your cabin taking all trash to the dumpster at the back of the main lodge building. Bears are a nightly occurance and they will ransack anyfood left outside while tearing into the trash cans in a heartbeat.
If you do encounter a bear "don't freak out" they are used to humans and will most likely just walk the other direction should you come upon them. Be calm and walk away. If you have a pet. Take them with you and do not let them loose from their leash. Moose are additionally common at Daven Haven. They are more aggressive than the bears and you definately do not want to engage with them in anyway they are quick and agile. Elk can also be seen but are far less aggressive and will most likely walk away. And PLEASE do not feed the Fox! They can be very tame at times but are still wild animals not to be treated like pets.

Deposit- A $1000 Non Refundable Deposit must be received at the time of contract signing to be considered “booked”.
Terms and Conditions
50% deposit of your Proposed Estimate is due 60 days prior to the event date. Balance Due 7 days prior to your event.
Ten days prior to your event, your guest count and all final details are due. You will be billed on the final number of guest count given or the number of guests attending – whichever is greater.
Your final invoice may change due to rentals, breakage, guest count, services or hours.

Outdoor Bonfire Ring (available if no fire ban is in effect)
The firering is available on a reservation basis only. You need to book this area if you want to enjoy this during your stay. This space is frequently used as a party venue and there is a fee attached to this if you plan to have a large group gathering. Please see Daven Haven Venue fees for the cost of this site.
Should just you and your family want to sit and enjoy a mountain camp fire during your stay, please check with the front desk to be sure it is not already booked with an event, that there is not a fireban in place, and to get a list of rules and information in building a campfire and the correct way to be sure it is TOTALLY extinguished at the end of the night.
This is a beautiful immenity and we want you to be able to use it safely and wisely.
